What, Where, Why, Who are Twitcher's gloves? Well I will try to answer some of those questions in here & mainly in this video. Twitcher's gloves is an item that can be worn in your glove/hand slot on Old School Runescape. It is an item you can purchase from the Forestry shop at the price of 5,000 Anima-infused bark & 500 noted willow logs. It is also a collection log in the forestry section which is another reason why I wanted to test these out. Is it a useless item or could it be the next meta for certain nests? I say this because the gloves does exactly that. It is suppose to boost your chances of recieving the certain nest you want at a +20% boost. Well I decided to take my gloves to my personal Redwood tree in the Farming Guild and chop logs until the charges depleted.... Well so I thought! In the end I decided to chop my Redwood tree to get 1,000 logs both with and without the Twitcher's gloves to see if there is any real significant difference from getting more or less Clue Nests as Redwood trees can ONLY give you Clue Nests. With a somewhat recent change to the gloves that allows you to use them at Redwoods. I was averaging around 60,000xp in Woodcutting throughout this project, so with the full forestry outfit equiped (which you can also purchase from the Forestry shop). I was averagly chopping 155 logs per hour, meaning this project took me a total of roughly 13 hours to complete. Looking at the results of this project. I am not entirely sure these gloves are actually useful, but if on the long run of chopping thousands of trees. It may help then, other than this. I sense these gloves will remain 'dead content' and forever be sitting in your bank as a placeholder!
