The V2 Ibanez WH10 with it's metal housing would have been great if they had not tried to 'improve' on the original electronics. So in order to make the V2 WH10 sound as good as the original several modifications are required!
The V2 from the factory as the most tone suck of any pedal i have ever tried. so a low profile true bypass switch needs to be installed
They added extra high frequency smoothing capacitors on the input and output stage unlike the original! these can suck a bit of life out of the V2 so need to be removed.
The V2 seems to suffer from a massive gain boost, even more than the original. To make this usable a boost knob needs to be added in place of the "dry out' socket which most people would never use.
After all these modifications have been carried out you end up with a really nice sounding WH10 that can actually be used live without fear of snapping it!
