Finally on my 3rd day in Almaty I fancied mysef to go out and explore one of the most popular attraction in Almaty- Shyumbulak resort and ropeway journey to it. The cable car station at Medeu is a little out from the city area and easiest mode of transport would be a taxi (always book from yandex app). However there are regular buses available from certain points of the city as well but they would take almost double the time.
The ropeway journey was nothing but mesmerizing from the very first minute. It felt incredible hovering over astonishing autumn colors overlooking some beautiful snowcapped mountain ranges. The very fact that the cable car would eventually drop you to those beautiful mountains were giving me goosebumps already.
