Such Telegram channels prey on greed of people who don’t have iota of idea the stock market and recently SEBI got hold of such Telegram Channel named Bull Run 2017.The telegram channel was working since 2017 and indulged in stock manipulation.Also,this channel has whopping 47000 gullible subscribers.
SEBI found them running pump and dump scheme came under SEBI’s scanner after earning whopping 5.68 crore rupees.SEBI interrogated them,collected data from their smartphone and found that this telegram group was being run by Himanshu Mahendrabhai Patel,Raj Mahendrabhai Patel and Jaydev Zala.
They opened demat account in name of their 3 relatives to execute this pump and dump scheme.Investigation by SEBI revealed the whole modus operandi of these people.
There people told their subscribers that they are SEBI registered stock market analyst and has years of experience in dealing clients money and asked people to buy stocks suggested by them.
Now, the operators of Bull run 2017 has been fined at the tune of 5.84 crore rupees,double the amount they earned with this pump and dump scheme.
Also their relatives were are also fined 5 lakh each for assisting them in running pump and dump scheme
