TEACHER DEMO. This Christmas song is on p.10 of Alfred's Adult Christmas Hits Level 2. It was composed by Sammy Cahn and Jule Styne in 1945 during a heat wave in Hollywood, California as they imagined a cooler climate.
In measures 4, 12, & 28, I don't do the finger substitution. (It was easier for me to just hop my thumb instead.) I like to play the eighth notes with a long/short rhythm, and I prefer the ending more forte than mezzo-piano.
