We were truly blessed this fall as we will be filling the freezer with wild game meat. Zac and I are Montana boys and grew up hunting, but white tail deer hunting and Alaska moose hunting are as different as night and day. Harvesting a moose takes a village....ok, maybe not a village, but it is A LOT of work. This particular hunt from spotting the moose to the kill took no more than 2 hours. After I pulled the trigger, it took 10 days of 8-10 hours per day until all the meat was processed and in the freezer. Just another day off grid in the Alaska Bush.
