Although the symptoms sometimes are similar, colds are generally not as severe, not to mention they’re generally caused by different viruses.

So, colds you might have stuffy nose or even runny nose. You might have a sore throat, some congestion, you might have a cough. But with the flu, what we see most often with flu is fever, shaking chills, you may or may not have a cough, but it’s generally the muscle aches, the shaking, and the high fever, with flu.
