Rahul Gandhi ED News: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is slated to present himself for questioning before the Enforcement Directorate on Monday, June 13, in the National Herald case. Barely hours before Gandhi's questioning, several Congress workers were detained outside his residence for protesting the central agency's move to summon the MP.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on June 1 issued summons to the Gandhis in a money-laundering case in connection with the National Herald-Associated Journals Ltd deal.
Rahul Gandhi was initially asked to appear on June 2 but he sought more time as he was outside the nation. While Sonia Gandhi was in India, she sought time to appear as she was down with Covid.
