Let's make a project bag! This project bag is the perfect size for socks or another one skein project. I give notes on how to customise the size as well. I know I use them for knitting but they could also be used for make-up, toys, stationary – really anything that needs a bag!

Materials needed to make this bag:
2 fat quarters OR 2 quarter yard/meter cuts OR suitable scraps
2 pieces of interfacing (iron on or sew in) OR batting scraps. I use pellon or a fusible fleece.
A zip at least 10” long (I use a 12” one to make it easier to sew in)
Cutting directions:
Outside of bag – 2 pieces 9”x10”
Lining of bag – 2 pieces 9”x10”
Interfacing - 2 pieces 9”x10”
Handle/Strap – 1 piece 2.5”x13”
Inside binding – 2 pieces 2.5”x4.5”
