Seventy-six years after the UN Declaration of Human Rights proclaimed the fundamental human right to adequate housing, homelessness and housing precarity remain at crisis levels across Canada and around the world. How can we hope to live spiritually-fulfilled lives while brimming with anxiety about having a roof over our heads? It turns out many of our spiritual traditions have something to say about the responsibility to act to ensure everyone has a place to call home.
