What happens when parents turn their own kid's abusers? Shocked? It’s not so shocking in France. You will be even more amazed to know that in France, one child dies at the hands of their parents every week! Kids as little as three weeks old face neglect and assault from the very people who gave them life. Who are they going to trust, if the protector will become a threat? The justice system puts such at-risk kids in a centre where they are cared for by nurses, educators & psychologists. Child abuse is a crime growing like a disease in France. There is required more child welfare and child protection awareness.
