More than a century ago a young Bahamian rose from humble beginnings to become one of the country's first pioneers of real estate, aviation and tourism. Knighted in 1964 for his service in helping develop The Bahamas, Sir Harold Christie - known as HG - was also the inadvertent father of the Bahamian art scene with the founding of the Chelsea Pottery. HG's history - and that of The Bahamas generally - unfolds in this award-winning docudrama through interviews with family, contemporaries and cultural figures as well as through narration and archival footage.
