Hey guys!!!
Welcome to my channel!! If you guys are new here, do subscribe for more recipes, vlogs and cooking related content.
In today's video I’m making Indian coffee house style Beetroot cutlets. I was introduced to these beauties after my marriage during our frequent trips to my husband’s grandmother in Ambalapuzha, where, en-route we would drop into the Indian coffee house at Alappuzha. These are best enjoyed hot with some sweet beetroot sauce and onion salad. I hope you guys try this out and enjoy it!!!

Ingredients:
Beetroot (grated & squeezed) 1 medium size
Potato (boiled) 3 medium size
Onion (chopped finely) 1 small size
Green chilli (chopped finely) 2 medium size
Curry leaves 1 sprig
Ginger garlic paste ½ tbsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Red chilli powder 2 tsp
Chicken masala/ Kitchen king masala 2 tsp
Garam masala 1 tsp
Coriander (finely chopped) as needed
Maida ( for binding & slurry) 5 tbsp
Bread crumbs* to coat the cutlets
Salt to taste
Oil as required
*I made the bread crumbs by grinding a few slices of bread in the mixer and roasting the crumbs on low heat for a few minutes (careful not to burn) until slightly golden.
Beetroot sauce:
Boil and peel 2 tomatoes and grind it into a sauce by adding in the beetroot juice. Add sugar, salt and chilli powder to taste, 2 tbsp of tomato ketchup, boil and thicken the sauce to your liking.
Onion Salad:
Mix sliced onions and chillies in salt and vinegar and let it sit for a few minutes.
