This is just a quick side by side comparison to compare the 18v DeWalt electricians cable stapler to the new Milwaukee M12 Electricians cable stapler.
To Start with the staples themselves, I have been waiting for the staples to come in stock for the new Milwaukee stapler. the staples seem a lot stronger and better constructed and gently look a lot better than the DeWalt ones but are almost twice as expensive at the moment although the DeWalt staples were also more expensive when realised so hopefully Milwaukee will reduce the price too - Winner Milwaukee
Next the tool its self, I've been using the DeWalt for over a year and happy with it, I mainly use it on summerhouses and sheds but also in lofts and timber stud walls, the batteries last ages and it does its job well although I wish it would send the staplers deeper. Ive now used the Milwaukee a couple of times and I'm blown away by how much better it is at driving the staples in with less noise and recoil. With the DeWalt the cable was easy to pull out but the Milwaukee it is the perfect tightness. The one plus the dealt does have is the jaws/ staples seem a tiny bit wider so could push it to maybe 3x 1mm twin and earth cables but the Milwaukee jaws seems a mm or two smaller, it still easy fits a 6mm twin and earth cable though and does a better job.
The size of the Milwaukee is also smaller so easier to get in small spaces, Weight is about the same but the Milwaukee seems more solid and better constructed - Winner Milwaukee
Overall the Milwaukee is hands down the better product and I will be selling my Dewalt, I'm glad about this as I can use my other Milwaukee batteries so no longer need to carry separate DeWalt batteries and chargers anymore. It seems as though Milwaukee has taken the dealt and imposed on all is negatives to make a very good electricians cable stapler.
I purchased this from my local Milwaukee Suppler @powertoolsgbrexcrystalfixi658 where I get my Milwaukee tools from and always get great service.
