Buying land is not by default the best idea out there, despite it being more popularized and it being the primary thing that crosses mind to majority of people after getting money. There are other productive areas one can invest on and get good returns. Disclaimer, I didn't say that land is ultimately bad idea to invest on, I meant that before taking just an idea to invest consider if it's the best option and best for your money.
