When you buy new brake pads, they almost never fit perfectly. If they don’t fit perfect and I mean glide back-and-forth you’re going to be replacing your pads prematurely again. The problem is if they push into the rotor and are not able to move back the grind away. It takes time to grind them down just a bit to make sure they do fit.
