White Mahakala is a powerful deity of wealth and prosperity. He is the wrathful form of the deity of compassion, Avalokitesvara. In this form, he demonstrates a compassionate activity that overcomes obstacles and attracts positive influences. His body is white and he is standing. He has six arms, each holding a different object. He has three eyes. Mahakala is adorned with jewels and wears a beautiful skirt made from many scarves with decorations hanging from this skirt. His main right hand holds a wish-granting jewel in front of his chest, mounted on a jewel-tipped handle.
The yanguk ritual addressed to the White Mahakala is a ritual of attracting wealth. The yangguk ritual creates the reasons for gaining inner and outer wealth both in this and future lives, promotes good luck in matters related to increasing wealth.
