I’ve always felt that if your decision to make a different choice in life that affects no one but yourself causes extreme reactions in many…that you’re doing something right. Something I’ve always noticed amongst people is that the stronger the reaction the more they are jealous or trying to prove something because they don’t want to question the choices they’ve made.
Does everyone want to be parent? Certainly not. But it’s a lifestyle that aligns with so many individuals customs and belief systems that choosing not to can make them sometimes question everything they’ve thought or been taught about in life.
Specifically in regards to women, we are more than capable of navigating life solo if desired or needed, our values aren’t necessarily focused on needing a man or children to be successful in our lives. People can believe that our biological clock or hormones will eventually kick in and make us think otherwise, but hypothetically, even if they did, I believe our common sense and critical thinking in terms of reality are a lot stronger.
