when i was in toronto this summer i went into a really beautiful recording studio with cold specks to record acoustic versions of 'a case for shame' and 'tell me'.
i grew up playing acoustic guitar, so as much as i love electronic music i really love playing very simple, stripped down acoustic versions of my songs.

Hip hop subculture that originated from an African American community during the 1970s in New York City, specifically in Morris Heights, Bronx, then later spread its influence to Latin American communities.[1][2][3][4][5][6] While the term is often used to refer to hip-hop music, in its broader sense hip-hop culture is characterized by the four elements of rapping, DJing, breaking and graffiti.[1]
The origin of the subculture stems from the block parties of DJ Kool Herc at 1520 15 (2): 24(4).
