A very common dish in Thailand as a breakfast but can be eaten any time of the day, as well as a meal given to people who are sick and unwell. The dish has many variations and usually includes meat and herbs like coriander, ginger, Peppers with pork, prawns or chicken - helpful for cold and flu, a little like how chicken soup is given to those with a cold.
Ingredients:
1 Cup of Uncooked Rice
5 Cups of Water
2 Tbsp of Soy Sauce
1 Tsp of Black Pepper
1 Stock Cube of your choice
3 Tsp of Finely Sliced Onion
3 Tbsp of Chopped Corriander
3 Tbsp of Chopped Ginger
2 Tbsp of Fried Garlic
2 Cups of Fried Tofu or Meat
