Jo Cox, the 41-year-old Labour Member of Parliament for Batley and Spen, died on June 16 after being stabbed and shot in the village of Birstall, West Yorkshire.
Cross-party tributes have been made to a 'rising star' in British politics, while a local man Thomas Mair, aged 52, has been arrested over the MP’s murder.
In the wake of the attack, VICE News traveled to the village of Birstall to speak with eyewitnesses and locals, and to hear the views of Prime Minister David Cameron and Opposition Leader Jeremy Corbyn.
