A person was killed Tuesday morning after a house fire in Modesto, fire officials said. The fire was reported around 5:30 a.m. at a home in the 1300 block of Mt. Vernon Drive. Firefighters went into the home and found the resident. The victim was taken to the hospital where they later died. Get the full story in the video above.
