Lucifer & Satan, who are these archetypes/demons/spirits/powers and what do they represent in Luciferianism? This video offers a very simple introduction to the origins and numerous ancient pantheons from which Lucifer-Phosphoros, Ashtar-Attar, Azizos, Azazel, Astarte, Ishtar, was manifest as a fallen deity in the Ugaritic pantheon. Satan emerged in New Testament religious lore as the Prince of the Powers of the Air and who was the Ruler of this World; the ancient Pagan magico-religious cults held the traits and values of indulging in this life, spiritual intuition and the value of knowledge, power, strength and conquering those who threaten you. Satan became identified with Lucifer around the 2nd Century CE, the time of early Christianity.
Luciferians have the advantage of applying knowledge to reveal the layers of meaning behind the Deific Masks such as Samael, Lucifer, Azazel, Shemiyaza; the embodiment of self-empowerment and mastery over your world. The light bearer or fallen angel which is Lucifer is balanced: primal lust, desire, thirst for power, instinctual impulses are controlled and directed by the higher intellect, the conscious mind and will who by character and commanding personality traits (when required) illuminates ones' blazing torch as the Black Flame.
Luciferians embrace the demonic darkness which is revealed as carnal lust, subconscious selfishness, instinct and spiritual influence that inspires man and woman to strive for Wisdom, Power, Balance, and Strength. The Devil is depicted commonly as taking a form of perverse, mutated and unnatural composite (monstrous and horrific) shapes, yet is still protean and takes many shapes from the blazing light of an angelic Archon, or some animal or human. Lucifer is conceptualized during and after the medieval period, with Dante's Divine Comedy (Inferno) and the fallen angel (Satan) in John Martin's Paradise Lost.
Luciferians view Lucifer / Satan as both a creative and destructive force, which as presented in biblical and apocryphal myths as a motivating, liberating and masterful tactician who gives the gift of knowledge to humanity; it is ones' responsibility for all the creative and destructive means in which they apply those temptations which elevates or degenerates the Luciferian Mind and Spirit.
