Welcome to episode 10 of my van-building series! This episode has bonus build content, combining sound deadening and insulation method 1! Sounded deadening is not required but is nice to have. It helps the van not make so much noise and reduces the panel vibrations. Moreover, the Thinsulate is another sound-deadening material besides it being insulation. It helps keep the outside noise from coming in. I decided to go with Thinsulate because the other forms of insulation were either a little risky for being toxic or would use natural fibers and I did not want to risk insects in my insulation. Thinsulate is a very common material in the van life community and I am happy with my decision. The only thing to note is that I did order TOO much insulation... The one sushi roll pack shown in the video was more than enough. Like and comment below on what you think!

My name is Dani and I decided to buy a 2021 Ram Promaster cargo van to live and work full-time in. I didn’t want to be stuck buying a home when I had yet to explore and see what the world has to offer. As a first-generation American/student/graduate, leaving home to travel is not an easy decision. However, the time has come for me to leave the nest I was born and raised in and learn to see what’s out there! With my rescued dog as my companion, I am excited for the adventures we will have coming our way. Follow me on my journey if you want to see how I make my dreams a reality all with a big dog in the picture!
