The newest Aiper Seagull SE has a new look and improvement. But can it solve the issues of long charging times and poor performance? Without a navigation system and ability to handle any slopes in your pool, it is safe to say the Aiper Seagull SE is Pool Nerd Disapproved.

While a cordless robot seems great, the power is significantly less than its corded counterparts - not to mention the disappointing coverage and battery. While the battery life is a little longer and has a battery indicator, you still have to charge it for significantly longer than it cleans. So if you have a dirty pool, you'll have to run it across multiple days.
The Aiper Seagull SE only works on completely flat pools. So if you have any slope in your in-ground or above ground pool, don't expect it to be able to cover your pool as it will get stuck where the slope is.
You may want to check out robots from other brands, such as the above ground cleaner Dolphin Escape or in-ground cleaner Dolphin Cayman. They are able to not only handle slopes, but the Dolphin Cayman can even climb and clean your pool walls.
