Another classic example of 'off-beat casting' with Sir Adrian Boult in his only recording of any of Gershwin's music. The composer wrote it after visiting Havana in 1932 and, as will be heard, the score is laden with exotic percussion instruments. Boult's performance comes from a World Record Club LP made in 1967 with the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
