Taken from the new retrospective collection The Best of LEMON (Greatest Hits) (2018) - LEMON's first few releases (the debut Fresh! EP (1999) and the albums Lemon Up! (2001) and With a Twist (2005) - (incidentally the album that launched Freshly Squeezed as a label) - are the bridge between the kitsch Lounge/Easy Listening scene of the late 90's/early naughties and the Vintage Remix/Electro Swing movements of today.
