If you suspect your MSD 6AL powered ignition might be having issues, here's one thing you can do to start to narrow down where the issues might lie. I recently thought my 6AL was dead, it turned out I had a bad connection that needed to be adjusted. This test was able to prove the box itself was good because I was able to get spark.
