Pastor Steven Furtick shares this Amazing video on how they write the song "The Blessing" together with Kari Jobe, Cody Carnes, and Chris Brown. He said in his post: " just as we thought our songwriting session was coming to a close, God surprised us with an unexpected blessing. A song came into the room that felt like it would write itself if we would give it a voice. The scripture, the amen, the prophecy." He also said that "Less than 48 hours later, (after it was written) our Elevation Church family was singing it like they’d known it 100 years.
