On 5/13/2022 at approximately 4:30 PM, The Oklahoma City Police Tactical Unit and Bomb Squad began the process of serving a search warrant and arrest warrant at 15405 Haley Dr. in far southeast Oklahoma City.

Shortly after officers began executing the warrants and moving onto the property, Mr. Solomon stepped out of his home, armed with what appeared to be a pistol. Mr. Solomon assumed a shooter’s stance and aimed the pistol at the police helicopter, which was circling overhead. Mr. Solomon was then shot by members of the OKCPD Tactical Unit. He was transported to OU Medical Center where he remains at this time.

Further investigation revealed the pistol was an air pistol that looked identical to a real firearm. Investigators also discovered materials consistent with the manufacture of improvised explosive devices.
