The Biochemical Society offers a programme of grants for all career stages supporting research, attendance at scientific conferences, and the sponsorship of events. With over £300,000 awarded last year to members and non-members, students and emeriti, and individuals and organizations - there is funding available to all!

In this session, members of the Grants Committee discussed our General Travel Grants, Sponsored Event Grants, Sponsored Seminar Series Grants, and the Travel Award for International Skills and Knowledge Exchange. They provided an exclusive insight into what makes a successful grant application as well as exploring what the Committee look for during the review process.
