1. Female alpacas are pregnant for around 11-13 months and when they give birth, it is called 'unpacking'.
2. Alpacas are part of the camel family.
3. You'll know when an alpaca is happy because they make a hmmmmm humming sound.
4. A baby Alpaca is called a Cria, a Female Alpaca is called a Hembra and a Male Alpaca is called a Macho.
5. Like LLamas, Alpacas have been thought to have been a domesticated animal over 6000 years ago by the Incas, they used them for their prized fleece.
