In this episode, Christian dives into three vintage watches from the watch shop at Theo & Harris. The first is a Universal Geneve Polerouter, a true staple of the watch shop and one of the pieces designed by the legendary Gerald Genta, introduced in 1954, and has remained a piece that your average Joe on the street probably won't know anything about at first glance. Next on the list is an Omega Day-Date in immaculate condition from 1968. It comes on a beads of rice bracelet, and and was designed originally to be the archetypal all-round watch, a watch that could be worn to the beach, to the board room, and on a jet to some foreign locale. Last but not least, we have a Rolex Oyster Perpetual, a reference 6424. It features a completely unobstructed silver dial, arrowhead shaped hour markers, and wide alpha hands, crafting not only a beautiful and simple, but also symmetrical timepiece, and a true underdog in the world of vintage Rolex.
