This new strategic positioning ("Hyundai Santro - The Sunshine Car") marks brand Santro's progress over the years. Hyundai launched the hatchback Santro in India during the late nineties with the positioning "Hyundai Santro - The Complete Family Car" in a market that was ruled by Maruti Zen during those days. This series of commercials feature Hyundai's brand ambassador Mr Shah Rukh Khan and India's popular Bollywood actress Preity Zinta.
