"Coda" is a 2021 American drama film directed by Sian Heder, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival on January 28, 2021. The film was later acquired by Apple Inc. for distribution and was released in theaters and on Apple TV+ on August 13, 2021. "Coda" tells the story of a 17-year-old girl named Ruby Rossi (Emilia Jones) who is the only hearing member of her deaf family, consisting of her parents Jackie (Marlee Matlin) and Frank (Troy Kotsur), and her older brother Leo (Daniel Durant).
