This tutorial will demonstrate how to quickly determine the quality of journals on the Google Scholar page as per the ranking systems such as the Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC), [ Ссылка ]..., the Association of Business Schools (ABS), [ Ссылка ]..., and SCImago Journal Ranking (SJR), [ Ссылка ]....
Follow these three simple steps to get started:
Step 1: Install the "Rapid Journal Quality Check" Google Chrome extension, which you can find at [ Ссылка ]....
Step 2: Customize the settings to align with the ranking systems relevant to your context. For example, select ABDC, SJR, or ABS. Please note that ABDC ranks journals using A*, A, B, and C, where A* represents the highest quality and C indicates lower quality. ABS uses a scale from 4* for the best to 1 for lower quality, while SJR uses Q1 for the highest quality and Q4 for lower quality.
Step 3: Navigate to Google Scholar and search for a topic, like "sustainable finance," or a scholar profile, like "Searat Ali."
You will now see the selected rankings displayed alongside the research record. Say goodbye to manual search for identifying journal quality and improve your research efficiency while being mindful of technical glitches.
