We're brewing up an Amarillo IPA for our first big brew day, of which you can get the ingredients from my shop here: [ Ссылка ] You'll need 12lbs 2-row, 1lb Caramel 40L, 1oz Galena, 2oz Amarillo, and 1 US-05.
Another HUGE thank you to Spike Brewing for sending the kettles my way, and to Erik for helping me build the controller and wiring it up for me! We made it--here's the first brew day on the new all-electric two vessel RIMS system!
Overall, I think the brew day went incredibly well--only a few minor hiccups, and I discuss them all in the video. At this moment, I love the kettles, I LOVE brewing with electricty rather than propane, and I'm enjoying how the upgrades were able to speed my brew day up rather exponentially. A regular brew day used to take me 6 or 7 hours, but this one took me 3 hours and 40 minutes! Can't beat that!
If you made it to the end of the video, you are a champion, or a glutton for punishment! Thanks for watching!
