Wildwoodians, we are proud to present another stunning gem from the Fender Custom Shop 2019 Collection: the 1965 Telecaster Custom. This one is especially delightful to me because Telecasters with bound bodies are a favorite of mine. If you take one for a spin, you're bound to fall in love, too!

For these killer Customs, Fender used their '60 Oval C neck profile, which is quite well-suited to many styles of play. To create a modded vintage feel, they paired a compound 7.25"-9.5" (which equals easy chording down low and buttery bends up high) radius with medium vintage frets (which allow you to feel the wood when you fret a note).

They are full of spectacular sounds, too! They come equipped with two hand-wound Custom Shop single-coils, and they sing like nobody's business! The neck pickup is warm, mellow, and throaty, but its high remain open and three-dimensional. By contrast, the bridge pickup is snappy and biting, with plenty of woody punch in the mids and high-end sizzle 'n' twang.
