In a significant development, the Navy's MiG 29K fighter aircraft crashed off the coast while it was en-route to Goa. A technical snag has reportedly caused the incident. Meanwhile, the board of inquiry has ordered a probe into the matter. The pilot ejected safely from the aircraft and is reportedly stable. Taking to its Twitter handle the Indian Navy tweeted, "A MiG 29K on a routine sortie over the sea off Goa developed a technical malfunction while returning to base.
