Growing heuchera can be very easy and very rewarding! The tiny seeds can produce lots of plants with interesting foliage. If you have a little time and a little patience you can grow quite a few heuchera for your garden.

Heuchera when grown from seed may not become exactly the same as the parent plant. It will have some variations with a few exceptions like Palace Purple or Dale's Strain varieties.

To grow heuchera from seed surface sow the tiny seeds in a container and keep moist until germination. To transplant out (not covered in this video) you can gently pick out the individual plants with a fork and set them on the soil surface of the individual pot you want them to grow in for the next stage.

Back fill with just enough soil to cover the roots, gently pack it down, then fertilize to promote leaf growth.
