Pairing flavors in cocktails can sometimes be an art - delicate but rewarding! But who knew that when strawberry meets cucumber it makes for a delicious cordial and the most interesting drink I’ve had in a while! But to make this work we’ll need the art of flavor-pairing, so if you want to know how to pair flavors for better cocktails, today’s episode is just for you. To connect the flavors of strawberry and cucumber we’ll use caraway as a bridge, as Zach Sapato did on his Obvious Bridge cocktail. I was introduced to this cocktail at this year’s Bar Convent Berlin, but I’ll also teach you how to make it yourself at home, while learning all about flavor pairings.
