In this lesson, we will learn how to solve linear equations in one variable with fractions or decimals. We can clear an equation of fractions by multiplying both sides by the LCD or least common denominator of all fractions involved. In order to clear decimals, we can multiply both sides of the equation by 10^n, where n is the highest number of decimal places among all terms of the equation.
