When our client first called us, he said “I have been watching your videos and man I need some help with our pond!” I asked a bunch of questions about the pond he owned. They had recently purchased this home from a #mastergardener who was not able to care for the yard for almost 10 years due to failing health. When I arrived, it was clear how talented the gardener was, but it was clear they were never pond builders. We are extremely lucky to have the educational resources we do through #aquascape! Their 5-part recipe to ponds works every time on every scale when done to scale! We looked it over together and decided it would be best to take it all out and start over!

Thank you for joining us for episode number 146, project number 19 of 2022! In this week’s Episode, we are starting part 1 of a 2-part series where we are tearing out an outdated koi pond and replacing it with a totally customized #Pondlesswaterfall! One of the these we have gotten better at as a team is discussing the entire project before we get started. In this case I made sure to wait for Justin to discuss everything with our team here. There were a few challenges! Access was one way, we had to tear our way in and build our way out! Drainage was going right through the feature and water was backing up against the home before we arrived. We knew we had to come up with a solution for the draining above our feature. Then we installed a custom Cut Stone Staircase right off the patio so it is nice and welcoming and easy to interact with. We end doing our Medium Deluxe Plus Pondless Waterfall… we install 3 pumps on this massive waterfall! We have two 4k to 8k Aquascape Adjustable pumps and one 2k to 4k Aquascape adjustable pump. You are going to want to see this when it is all done and running… it is like a private mountain stream! #pondlesswaterfall #landscaping #waterfeature
