Can I beat a Pokemon Emerald Hardcore Nuzlocke only using Psychic Types?

Nuzlocke Rules:
-Pokemon that faint must be permanently released.
- You can only catch the first encounter on any given route (dupes clause)
-All pokemon must be given sillty names (Can you guess the naming theme?)

Hardcore Rules:
-You must play on Set Mode (No free switch's)
-You can't use any items during battle (held items excluded)
-You must play with a level cap for each gym leader.
