Messing with scammers is a lot of fun but it's even better when my colleagues join in. We had a very productive day in regards to reporting many fraudulent numbers to phone carriers. Most of them were terminated for fraud but others required more attention. The Norton refund scammers aside, who seemingly gave up rather quickly (I assume he was receiving prank calls long before I got to him), the PayPal and Amazon scammers were defiant in that they didn't care about prank calls. actually went some 4 hours, non stop, calling both the PayPal and the Amazon scammers while snagging the Anydesk ID's in the process. Another colleague of mine also joined in who was also the individual who found the fraudulent numbers through phony Google advertisements.
I came in towards the end, after the scammers had a long and extremely annoying battle with Bea Hindebars. I could hear the chaos in the background as the scammers were clearly fed up with us calling them as well as the fatigue in their voice. They finally ditched their numbers after they realized that the prank calls were not going to stop. They also came to the realization that their AnyDesk ID's had been banned which finally put and end to their shift.
