Melvin Gordon moving to the Denver Broncos from the Los Angeles Chargers was both a surprise and at the same time something we were anticipating. We knew that Melvin Gordon had to leave the Chargers to get paid, it was just the Broncos that was a surprise in the end. For fantasy football this move makes just as much sense for Melvin Gordon as it does for us drafting him in 2020.

The Chargers never really wanted to pay him in the first place and with a viable option to take on more carries it just wasn’t gonna happen for Gordon and the Chargers.

Over the last three years Melvin Gordon has been the 8th most reliable scorer week to week in PPR for Running Backs. That is on its own a great feat and add that he’s had the 10th highest ceiling we could easily see that for Fantasy he’s a top 10 back and should always go in the late first or somewhere in the second round.

With him sitting out parts of 2019 Gordon has somewhat fallen out of favor with the fantasy community and is now being drafted in the middle of the third round. This is great value and let’s look at it a bit deeper why this is so good in this video.
