Ladakh Travel Series Day 2

A visit to Kargil is a part of every travel itinerary of Ladakh and it indeed is a must.
Travelling to Kargil from Kashmir via Zojila pass enroute Sonmarg is one of the most beautiful journey of the entire trip.

You can witness snow-clad mountains, rivers , streams and some plush green lands throughout the journey. Monsoon make the journey even better and temperatures can drop quite low so layering up is suggested to have a comfortable journey.

You can even enjoy some adventure activities like skiing along with hot Maggie or the famous Kashmiri Kehwa at zero point if the weather allows.

Kargil War Memorial is the main spot to visit in Kargil. You can watch a short documentary explaining the Kargil war , shop from the souvenir shop or even communicate with our soldiers there.
