[ Ссылка ] Abortion Rights Overturned: How Dobbs v. Jackson Was Decided

Some thoughts on the "pro-life" fundamentalist stance on abortion and child/health care. If the goal is truly about reducing abortion, a noble one on its face, shouldn't we be addressing the reasons people decide to get abortions…the unwanted pregnancy? Shouldn't we be focusing on policies like making birth control and contraceptives available to all, educating kids about safe se*, and providing universal health and child care? But the same people pushing hardest for outlawing abortion entirely are also against all these measures that would drastically reduce abortions. Why is that? Seems to contradict the stance of being against abortion if you're actively fighting against policies that will decrease abortions. So, perhaps something else is really driving all this?
