Goblin Valley Utah - Hoodoos and Little Wild Horse Canyon HD 4K - Utah Family Travel Vlog
We started the morning playing among the Hoodoos. Kids and adults ran through the place, hiding & climbing on things. It actually reminded me of Disneyland. People were laughing & playing in a magical wonderland. We even found an awesome cave, Not the Goblins Lair (more on that later). After a few hours of fun & exploring we headed to one of the coolest hikes you'll ever see, Little Wild Horse Canyon.

Little Wild Horse Canyon is one of the most accessible and popular slot canyons in Goblin Valley, and the most popular slot in Utah. This family friendly hike is suitable for all ages, you can even bring your dog through Little Wild Horse Canyon. Of all the slot canyon hikes I've done, this one is the best with a beautiful variety of tight twists & turns. Bring your camera because there are loads of beautiful spots to take the perfect selfie or family picture.
Total distance is 8.2 miles. We just hiked in about 3 miles & turned around. Really, it depends on how much of the loop hike you want to do. If you do the whole loop expect to be hiking 5-7 hours depending on your skill level. or 2 to 3 hours for Little Wild Horse only. Be sure to bring plenty of water. Even in October this hike was hot. Speaking of water, there can be standing water depending on the time of the year. If it's cloudy or raining you may want to skip this hike due to possible flash floods. No permit is needed to do this hike.
Elevation at Trailhead – 4940 feet
Difficulty – Easy. There are a few tricky parts but nothing to be afraid of.

Season to hike – March to November
If you're going to do the full hike, I recommend that you start at Bell Canyon, ending with Little Wild Horse Canyon. Why? Because you'll probably want to save the best for last and little wild horse is much cooler. Heading into Little Wild Horse Canyon the walls quickly rise. After only 100 yards, the walls rise 50 to 75 feet overhead and the wash starts to narrow. Little Wild Horse canyon will get narrower as you hike further in to the most amazing picturesque twisting & turning slot canyon you'll ever see.
