Last week I posted a video about creating SEO content with AI, and I got a few messages and comments from people asking how to fix their traffic drops after google found their AI sites so I want to talk a little bit more about the best practices that we should be following in regards to creating SEO content with AI. and some other limitations that i didn’t cover

Something that I probably should’ve talked about more in the last video is where the openAI gets all its info from - and it basically gets fed massive quantities of pre-existing information and knowledge so the content that it spits out isn’t unique but it is original. Now this content should be passing plagiarism tests which means that it is original but the main difference here is that it isn’t unique.

Apart from the fact that the content isn’t unique, as I spoke about in the last video we need to be fact checking a lot of the answers. ChatGPT for example will sound very confident when giving a completely wrong answer - i’ll link to a couple articles that i’ve found that talk about some pretty glaring factual mistakes that ChatGPT keeps bringing up.

A lot of this AI generated content obviously can’t talk about current events, or rapidly changing topics. Additionally if there isn’t a general consensus in society about a topic so things like politics and religion you might get answers that not only inaccurate but most likely biased - which is also quite worrying.

but obviously this Ai generated content must be good for something right? So it works really well when it has to talk about something that everyone agrees on. So again informational queries that you would most likely to go wikipedia for.

So whats the best way of using these tools for content creation?

1. Fact Check
1. As I said before, you need to be fact checking absolutely everything that the AI is writing about. At the end of the day you need to be either an expert on the content you’re writing or hire an expert to review the content that is being written so it might even be easier to hrie that expert to write that content for you.


2. Don’t just focus on the speed - Value is what wins in Google.


1. Low quality content is already a huge issue inside of google, and something that google is trying to tackle quite aggressively.
2. If we assume that everyone has access to these ai content tools, and everyone is publishing the same content at these crazy rates, no one is going to stand out since a lot of this ai content is opinion-less, has no real structure, and lacks voice. To be fair this is definitely something that is already happening but it would happen at a much great pace.
3. So how can we add value?
1. Adding expert tips/quotes
2. Adding opinion + Deep Analysis
3. Adding original data or experience

These are all things that the AI content can’t do and this is what is going to make people come back to your content.


3. Using it as a writing assistant
1. AI right now is best used to helping out writers with writers block and for tackling those repetitive tasks, things like writing product descriptions, copy for your ads, or title + meta descriptions.
2. We can definitely use them to help us with long form content as well, as I showed you guys in the previous video it helped me generate a title and outline for a blog in a few clicks, but the actual writing if you want to stay on the safe side I would recommend getting a writer to help you out or otherwise if you want to use these tools we need to be reviewing and editing that content heavily
